The Narrowbacks
The brainchild of a future banker and a drop out bartender, The Narrowbacks are a fresh voice for songs and stories old and new. The Narrowbacks have brought their Irish American Odyssey from the stages of the Bowery Ballroom and the Stone Pony to the Kansas City Irish Festival and everywhere in between. They built their following in the barrooms of New York City with modern covers of old classic Irish songs but have grown to performing their own original canon of Irish American stories to the rock clubs and festivals of the Northeast and Mid-West. Make sure to follow them @thenarrowbacks on Instagram, Facebook and Spotify!
“Their music is literally and figuratively electric, and it sounds best live.” – Colleen Taylor, Irish Echo
“Like Dropkick Murphy’s songs with less aggression, better vocals and more of a singer-songwriter air about them.” – Matt Inman, Relix Magazine.
McLean Avenue Band
McLean Avenue Band are an Irish American band, based in Hudson Valley and Westchester County, New York. They have taken the Irish American music and entertainment scene by storm with their wonderful arrangements of pop, rock and folk songs, intertwined with Traditional Irish tunes and upbeat melodies, played on fiddles, banjos, bodhrans (Irish Drum) button accordions and acoustic guitars. These song arrangements are ideal for celebration events like weddings and parties, as well as festivals and concerts.
Chris Brown & Bookends Band
Whether he’s performing by himself or with friends, Brown wins over audiences without gimmicks or bluster. He has an organic stage presence. All he needs are his honeyed rumble of a voice and an unteachable ability to make any song – a good-time singalong of a favorite standard or a self-penned meditation on the passage of time – sound genuine and of the moment.
The Wooden Nickels
This exciting new American and Irish folk group have taken the tri-state area by storm with their wonderful mix of US folk songs, traditional Irish tunes and heart-folk Irish ballads.
A must see at this year’s festival.
Loughran-Dowling School of Music
The Loughran-Dowling School of Irish Music and Arts, located in the Woodlawn section of the Bronx, brings the gift of appreciation of Irish music and culture to children aged 5 thru 18 in a fun, informal setting.
Pipes & Drums Of The Police Emerald Society Of Westchester
Over the years The Band has performed at Lincoln Center for Performing Arts, been featured in two major motion pictures and appeared in concert with the Clancy Brothers, The Wolftones, The Furey Brothers, The Artane School Boys Band of Dublin and the prize winning choir of The Garda Siochana (The Irish Police Force) during its’ tour of the United States. As a result of the Bands relationship with members of the Irish Police Force we are honored to wear the Shield of the Garda Siochana.
The Band has attained a high level of popularity and is in constant demand for appearances throughout the Metropolitan Area. Our members are dedicated professional Police Officers who take great pride in playing the music of their heritage and give much of their time performing for civic groups, nursing homes and hospitals.
